I can’t think of an IP that has carried mediocre devs harder than Pokemon has.
I feel like it is an IP that has always operated with one of them weighted clothing shits Goku or Rock Lee wears.
If they unleashed full potential Pokemon it would be top 5 games. Maybe not anymore but they had over a decade window to do so and never did.
Between Game Freak and Niantic, yeah, that’s a pretty compelling combo for mediocrity.
Nobody hates their players quite like niantic. So glad I quit playing this slop a year or two ago.
This sounds really cool! I’d probably give it a try if I had a group to play with.
