This almost seems like a win against the death penalty, until you realize that this won’t stop them from killing the death row inmates, the will instead either try different and likely less effective drugs, or resort to other more archaic methods of execution.
and someone, somewhere would use this as a basis for banning interstate trade of ‘certain’ other drugs.
They’re already doing that:
As for the comment about death penalty states executing inmates more barbarically without these drugs: you can’t control what other states do. You can only choose not to participate.
They will just shoot them
