The FCC is expected to propose the return of Net Neutrality protections Oct 19th - Let’s hope they get it right::Network neutrality is the idea that internet service providers (ISPs) should treat all data that travels over their networks fairly, without discrimination in favor of particular apps, sites or services. It is a principle that must be upheld to protect the open Internet. The idea that ISPs could…
Fine but if you don't hold politicians feet to the fire about codifying it into law it'll just be taken away again the next time Republicans are in power.
Yep, this is little more than an empty gesture used to gain political points.
I think that's a stretch for something that has a positive impact and is done by a group outside of Congressional gridlock.
We should celebrate the win and push for stronger protections. We should definitely not given into apathy and give up.
Such good news. Fuck Ajit Pai.
And his fucking Reese's mug
His name kinda reminds me of “A Shit Pie”.
That man should be in prison! He created regulations that benefits ISPs and then gets a job working at one.
Always can't not support hating this slime ball
I always never don't not agree with you.
I hope this isn't a "Net Neutrality, oh and we'll also spy on you for the good of humanity" bill
Not sure, but there's already a horrible bill that is almost certainly going to pass to "protect" children on the Internet.

It's why my daughter is now using a VPN before it's necessary to.
KOSA has terrifying implications, and it's kind of fucked how little we are hearing it be discussed. Which leads me to believe many don't know about it.
Main stream media is balls. The latest war is a great distraction. The only way I hear about these things is social media and independent YouTube news channels.
We just got one of those in the UK
Now if we could just get them to limit media ownership again.
If it doesnt go anywhere i will be very concerned and very pissed off
I'm more concerned they'll fuck it up.
Boy I remember signing like 500 petitions to stop them from fucking this up a decade ago. I wonder how many of my tax dollars have gone to the FCC since they botched it.
Good
