Ocean acidification: Am I a joke to you?
Fo real
does that mean earth is a soda?
I dumped seltzer water into the ocean so now some of it is carbonated, boom earth unflattened.
Oh, it’s all carbonated. Once the atmosphere is hot enough to lower the pressure across the boundary interface between air and sea and/or heat the oceans sufficiently to ex-gas, it’ll fizz. It’ll fizz for sure.
In some places it already does in the summer :)
All living things are made of carbon. Most living things live in the water.
Ergo: Most water is carbonated.
Most things live on land, about 2% of Earth’s biomass is in the oceans.
There are a lot of trees, fungus, and cows
Soda springs geyser: am I a joke to you?
What?? How?!
Shit, he just convinced me! I have no arguments against insanity, so I must agree
There is naturally carbonated water, so…
You denier!
Where the fuck are they getting Topo Chico from? Fucking Mars?
There’s an “illegal aliens from Mexico” joke here but I’m too stoned to come up with it.
There is a lot of ahcktually going on in here for what was a decently good dad joke.
Can someone explain the joke for me?
Flat water=non-carbonated water or sometimes tap water. Since the oceans/surface water is not sparkling/carbonated water it must be flat water. Since the earth is mostly water it must be flat, too.
That was a funny joke, thanks for explaining.
When a fizzy drink loses its fizziness, it’s described as flat.
