I know this is a joke, but in all seriousness, after the Tohoku earthquake hit, the aftershocks were so nearly-constant that I eventually couldn’t tell if there was one going on without looking at the water in the fish tank.

It only looks crazy until it actually has crazy looks, by which point it’s obvious that it works.
