You need to link your PlayStation Network with Lemmy to comment here
available now on PC!
Unless you are in a non Sony country.
I’m confused. I thought people need PSN link for multiplayer and can play the single player without it.
Though still a shit move and I’d say sail the high seas 🏴☠️
Sony still delisted the game from Steam stores in various countries.
i’ve seen it out there, on those seas. but for the record I bought it.
For any confused time travelers, no, Sony doesn’t own countries yet. Disney isn’t even there yet. We’re still a couple of years away from that, I’m guessing.
Besides the Sony account drama (I don’t care about multiplayer), anyone know how this actually runs performance-wise? I usually assume these ports scale well since it’s a PS4 game but Sony launches have been all over the place.
happy to report so far it runs great over here. haven’t really seen anyone mention issues in the steam reviews either. not to say it 100% works for everyone but usually if there were something major it would be a hot topic by now.
What are people without a PSN account missing out on? What content does the multiplayer portion have?
As someone once said about director’s cuts with films: they’re a double-dip scam.
If the cinema and home media releases were the same, they’re just trying to make you buy the same thing twice by pretending that this is what the director really wanted it to be. The distributor really likes your credit card.
Having said that, Taylor Swift has something like 28 versions of the same album out and her stans are going crazy for it, treating them like they’re Pokemon.
Whatever floats your boat. 🤷♂️ Don’t let this old dude yuck your yum.
I think the relevant news here is the PC support, not the directors cut. There is no other version for PC (AFAIK).
