Huh, and here I was thinking you didn’t have to test Fallout games to release them.
It’s not a new Fallout game, it’s a mod from independent developers so you can except a higher standard.
Ouch…
Sick burn. That’s why I vowed to never play another Bethesda game (on console) until it’s been out for a while.
i disconnected my xbox from the internet since the new fallout 4 update dropped. mainly because i was playing this mod and didn’t want it to break
Good thinking. I haven’t tried it, but want to at some point.
I used to be excited when I heard of fallout announcements, but after the nuka cola rum, fallout 76, the canvas tote bags, the years of waiting, I’m not excited anymore. The Amazon prime series was good, but I’m over the hype after being disappointed too many times.
This is a mod not a Bethesda game.
Edit: though, to be clear, I agree on the rest about 76 and all the bait and switch. I was a paying ESO customer when all that happened and unsubbed and uninstalled as a result.
It’s good news to hear Bethesda isn’t involved with this.
Bethesda activy hindered this project by releasing a patch no one asked for like 3 days before the initial planned release date.
A patch that was announced over a year before it went up, and that people who play on consoles very much did ask for. I’m not happy about it being forced on PC either, but come on, there was no malicious intent here.
That brings up another point…
I’m glad we’ve got such comprehensive mods in the works, but anyone else real tired of so many news sites trying to pass them off as official? Like, I get why person up there is confused.
This is a mod… not Bethesda creation
