I have no sympathy for GAFAM, but Mozilla sucks even more and you can’t convince me otherwise.

If he wants to learn stuff, I’m eager to buy him all the books he wants. The moderate amount of useful resources on YT is 100% available elsewhere, on less addictive platforms or media.

Engywook@lemmy.zipto Technology@lemmy.world•Brave browser blocks Windows feature that takes screenshots of everything you do on your PCEnglish1·10 days agoGood for you. I actively refuse to use it or any of its derivatives to avoid endorsing Mozilla by giving them market share. Additionally, I find that Brave just performs better (and needs one extension less to be functional).
Engywook@lemmy.zipto Technology@lemmy.world•Brave browser blocks Windows feature that takes screenshots of everything you do on your PCEnglish316·11 days agoActually, I consider Brave the best (or the least bed…) browser on the market. Period. The fact that it isn’t made by Mozilla is a plus for me.
The only good ending I can remember from him is that of The Dark Tower series.

Engywook@lemmy.zipto linuxmemes@lemmy.world•Stop using a browser that violates user freedom and privacy!221·21 days agoNope, not going to use anything that may bring corrupt Mozilla any visibility or revenue, not even a fork with the same use agent. I prefer using a Chromium browser.
