        Of course they did. For them there’s nothing to be gained and everything to lose. The only way ranked choice happens is if it’s shoved down the throats of the GOP and DNC.

      I know in Colorado the rank choice was bundled with an all candidate consolidated primary. I think there was too much change in one bundle, each one would have done better as it’s own ballot initiative.

    Note on the one that I know, Massachusetts was only a change to the minimum wage for tipped workers. (And I’m sad it failed). The restaurant industry spent solid cash on this.

    Edit: also in MA was the right for Uber drivers to unionize, and that looked like it passed last I checked.

    Kentucky also voted NO on a proposed constitutional amendment that would give the state legislator power to siphon funds from the public school system to give to private schools.

    Small victory in spite of everything else, but a victory none the less
