Babies were killed in Israel by Hamas at the kibbutz Kfar Aza, and some of them were beheaded during the surprise attack on the residential community, according to a reporter on the ground for i24 News.

The written i24 news report, by journalist Nicole Zedek says, “About 40 babies and young children have been taken out on gurneys — so far.”

The Jewish Chronicle reported that the reports emanated from Kfar Aza kibbutz near the Gaza border.

You can watch the i24 reporter’s original report, which was shared on X, below. In it, she said that babies were beheaded. i24News is a 24-hour television news channel based in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Disgusted, yes, but not surprised. All the more so, though, whether or not the thing the article is claiming happened actually happened IS important. We can't just say "that's the sort of thing I think they would have done, so they probably did it" and move on. That's the kind of circular logic that gets us into a place where people honestly believe that significant portions of their government are full of literal Satan worshipers who drink the blood of children.

Yeah for sure. We are going to need to be extra critical of the news from the middle east for the next while.

Also, they're Molech worshippers, not Satan worshippers, where are you getting your news from??

I get where the comic is coming from, but the range of reactions between 'no way!' to 'yeah, I'm not surprised at all' are exactly indicative of the current state of affairs, regardless of if the actual story is true or not.

Yeah the fact that I could believe anything about Palestine right now is super indicative of what's wrong with Palestine and not at all a perfect stage for disinformation

At this point, you need to be especially critical with what you're reading about this situation. Anyone can say anything, and your inbuilt opinions will let you believe more things about the side you don't like without evidence.

Yeah, I've seen several articles about mass dis-info like on twitter etc.

It's going to get difficult picking the worms out of the spaghetti.

You are literally refusing to pick worms out of spaghetti and gobbling it down. Get real.

I don't think you get where it is coming from. The comic makes fun of people who are so brainwashed they make up excuses even though they know they are wrong. We had a politican and a former minister of justice on the right side of the political spectrum, that wrote a book where he claimed that immigrants did X and Y. It was a lie, and when he was confronted with the blatant lies, he said "WELL, IT COULD'VE HAPPENED!"

People like this are insanely stupid 😢

Yes. It was even a bad lie. He wrote a small town in Norway had to build a school when one somali refugee got reunited with his wife and 22 kids. The town said this didn't happen, and the right leaning politican went into crazy mode 🤡
