Raspberry Pi 5: available now! We’ve been excited to see the response of early users to Raspberry Pi 5, and can’t wait to see what you do once you get your hands on it.
It still has its super tiny size and silence, though less so with the 5’s heat generation, going for it. But if you’re just looking for a box to do things, it’s less compelling these days.
I’ll probably still pick a 4GB up as I like them for servers, and the ARM architecture is neat.
If they’d add something to enable some serious storage options that allow me to turn it into a decent NAS, they’d have my attention. That’s where the thin clients aren’t fantastic either.
