I just heard Heart’s Crazy on You and was thrown back to guitar hero, and wondered if anyone has tried emulating it?

Should work, configure your emulator for performance rather than graphics though to get the best responsiveness.
That said, if you haven’t already, look into Clone Hero. Modern guitar hero port with a huge community and lots of custom tracks available. It’s awesome.

Yeah clone hero is pretty sick. It can do drums too, and you can get it to work with a real electronic kit
+1 to Clone Hero. Huge community making thousands of custom songs and packs. I think all of the games have been ported into CH at this point. Extensive controller support too. I have an old PS4 Rock Band Bluetooth controller I use to play sometimes!
Used to use Dolphin to play the Wii version of guitar hero 3. Worked pretty well
do people still play Frets on Fire? everyone in my game design camp back in like 2008 put that shit on their computers lol
Rock Band 3 works great on RPCS3 and the fantastic Deluxe mod is fully supported there
