    The apple doesn’t accelerate towards the ground, the ground accelerates towards the apple

      I mean… technically you are correct? The gravitational pull of the apple does act on the earth, but it’s so incredibly small and the earth is so incredibly massive it’s borderline non-existent.

      But yes all gravitationally interacting object do act upon each other
