What consolidation? lemmy.world and Lemmy.ml are by far the largest instances, and are going down from the load. Lemmy was designed to be resilient against a single server going down, but if everyone is on a single server, and that server goes down, everyone can use Lemmy.
and lemmy.world is down. Please consider using less overloaded instances.
Things happen man. Consider how worse your idea of consolidation to only “approved stable” instances (oh boy Reddit again) goes against the Fediverse.
These are the big early days, you want stability you should head back to Tumblr.

Spreading out communities over all of Lemmy is the federation, putting everything on one instance is not. You got it backwards.
