He talked with multiple locals who estimated that something like 50% of them got by on “checks”, which is their euphemism for welfare when they’re the ones receiving it (mostly SSDI).
You don’t understand, they’re against the lazy ones getting welfare not the ones who are hard workers but haven’t been able to find work for ten years.

It’s amazing how they can take American’s jobs but also be lazy welfare queens.
