Sure mate :)
Hi! I’m British, I like music (grime, garage, hip-hop, R&B, and more!). I like art, culture, history, politics, & doomscrolling memes.
Also a touch of programming :)
also on /u/Madbrad200@sh.itjust.works
Sure mate :)
Pruned and updated this list a bit. Feel free to let me know about places worth adding.
hexbear (a leftist instance) was defederated recently. lemmygrad.ml is “under discussion”.
lemmy.ml has too many general users thesedays imo, it would be very major to block it.
Nah lemmy.ml is still federated. You can see it listed here https://lemmy.world/instances
Just out of curiosity, what post sorting are you using? This can happen if you’re using a tight sort, e.g “Top (6hr)”
looks like lemmy.world has started blocking it though
It’s blocked from lemmy.world. I’d recommend using LASIM and migrating to another instance like https://lemm.ee/ (note: you will need to manually resubscribe to !piracy@lemmy.dbzer0.com on your new account, since LASIM won’t be able to see it).
That’s not a copy of the main piracy community, that’s another piracy community that’s hosted on lemmy.world
The community people are talking about is !piracy@lemmy.dbzer0.com, which is no longer accessible via lemmy.world
It appears !piracy@lemmy.ml is also blocked.
It does come preinstalled with them, that’s the whole point of Jackett. You just need to enable them in the dashboard.
I posted twice (2 times), you’ll survive.
They’re still defederated from lemmy.world unfortunately, so 🤷♂
An instance is just a way to access Lemmy. Lemmy.world, lemm.ee, sh.itjust.works, feddit.uk, etc - you can use any of these to access Lemmy and interact with, and see, all the same content.
It’s a problem because most communities are hosted on lemmy.world at the moment, but if lemmy.world ever dies they’ll die with it.
Lemmy.world is shitting the bed lately, Lemmyverse is not able to collect data from it.
With lemmy.world having issues, they’ve restricted their API usage to services such as Lemmyverse (which this bot sources its data from). This means that it can’t really accurately reflect changes for lemmy.world communities, which in-turn means the bot is only going to pick up on changes from communties that aren’t hosted on lemmy.world. Note the low %'s, these likely aren’t actually the highest movers.
I don’t care. They can figure it out or ask, lol.
That’s great
It wasn’t posted to !lemmy@lemmy.ml, it’s over at !announcements@lemmy.ml
If you’re on desktop, use https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/469273-lemmy-universal-link-switcher it’ll automatically rewrite lemmy links so they match your home instance.
You can also paste the link in your lemmy search bar, it should find the post on your instance for you.
Anyway, here it is https://lemm.ee/post/3309035
@Kratoz29@lemm.ee
open your browser and go to https://lemmyverse.net/communities?order=active&nsfw=null - is this not working for you?
Search bar in the top left, or scroll through.
!hiphopheads@sopuli.xyz is already on here :)
