If you want real change it’s going to take drastic action with significant personal risk from a lot of people.

No there’s plenty of blame to go around. The Democrats’ hands aren’t clean here. But neither is anyone who voted for trump or encouraged others to vote for trump.

Yes, the crime was horrendous. But if society just gives up on the idea of rehabilitating criminals that’s not going to bring anyone back. It’s just going to hurt more people unnecessarily, innocent and otherwise.

Obviously the murderer should not be released until they are adequately rehabilitated (if they ever are). But in a just society prisons are for rehabilitation.

Nah, that’s a real thing. Usually your finishes its final maturing phase around 25-30. Ofcourse your brain is still developing (and deteriorating) for the rest of your life, but at that point it’s much slower.
