Pretty much. It’s not something most of my circle of casual gamers know about. Even the hardcore gamers don’t watch live and usually catch a recording of something specific.

Sometimes war is brought to your door.
Recent ones: Gaza. Ukraine.
We have lost something greater than just a political alignment. We have lost trust in the entire State.
Yep.
I lost my trust 5 years ago during Trump. Biden was just slowly rebuilding that trust. But it’s still gone.
During the first year (Jesus I can’t believe I’m saying this), my colleagues in Ukraine thanked us for the work we had and disappeared. I saw him post in a gaming blog comment about Elden Ring dlc so I think he’s alive.
Most of the world wants to be left alone.
Lemmy: why aren’t people using Linux? It’s so easy
Also Lemmy: webp huh?
Lemmy folk forgetting that not every person cares enough to switch OSes.
If you ever work tech support even at a basic level, you’ll see. It’s not even boomers or genZ. I helped a grown ass human who was my age at 40yo how to install a Firefox extension.
That could have been me a few years ago. I was still using teamviewer up until 2020 to connect to my desktop from my laptop. It’s so handy.
Fortunately it was when I started learning about open-source solutions
Samsung appliances. Fridges. Washing machines.
Got them as part of the rental unit. They’re very new looking. But every month is some new mess up.
God I would replace them if I owned this place.
Well obviously their computer still had viruses after buying the software
I love disco Elysium
Whenever I see those “All the companies that use us” banner, I shrug.
If I was a scammer, why wouldn’t I include a dozen companies?
After the first 100, the other 300 kinda don’t matter.
spanked one 100 times
One 100 times or 1 time, but 100 times?
Dad shows a gun to show OP he’s a badass. Op doesn’t realize and shows his gun.
Common American culture is that you’re supposed to show your gun on the third date with the family, not the first. You’re also supposed to have a Mexican standoff when you walk into the house, with dad aiming at you, you’re aiming at dad, dog aims at GF, etc. And if he’s lucky, they have a rousing game of Russian roulette before tapas.
Totally understandable if you didn’t know. Just basic 2A knowledge every American learns about during elementary school.
I can’t imagine this to not be the case. Every bartender I know is tweaked out of their mind. Even the ones who see bartending as an art.
I’m not knocking their skill set. But they’ll be a rare breed if they think about bartending AND food safety at a high level enough to think about the cleanliness of ice.
I worked at startups and I’m not going to deny that I was absolutely horking my company as a solution for years on Reddit. Especially with niche products.
This was from 2014-2018, and then I left startups and worked in corps.
When Google has plans to slurp reddit comments, I bet I could gamify reddit even more.
Columbine opened up my eyes about violence on innocent people.
Sandy hook made me realized literally the 2nd Amendment is more important than the lives of children.
If I had a genie, I’d thanos snap every gun in America. But until then, I’m gonna stay strapped and lol at the infinite sadness of our dystopian nightmare.
Arm the other toddlers.
Right? This guy measured fat Donny and said he had a clean bill of health. And you want me to trust him?
I’d love to honestly believe that. But I still wouldn’t risk ever doing a BYOD with a company that forced me to install anything on my personal devices.
