For most of them, it’s because they truly, deeply believe that if they don’t convert you, you’re going to burn in hell for eternity when you die.

For most of the leaders of those sorts of churches, it’s because more people means more money for that new private jet they’re saving up for.

Unfortunately .world is in a country with strict laws against that sort of thing, so they are at very real risk of getting shut down if they change their rules against calling for violence.

Does it make sense to nitpick how much they’re getting though? The fact that they’re being denied any bonus is shady as fuck.

Well, let’s be real; pull off the ‘why no one want kids’ mask and you get the actual things they’re saying: ‘why no one want to make white babies because Great Replacement Theory’ and ‘why no one want to be bound to poor working conditions and wage slavery’.

Nothing sinister at all. It has a long and proven track record. Which you can check out if you don’t want to be low-info anymore. Doctors and dentists support it.

But there’s a subset of people who want us to go back to disease-ridden serfs, because when your teeth are falling out and 3 out of your 5 kids died young from disease and you can barely make rent, you’re too distracted to care what other people are doing.

There’s only pros. It’s proven to prevent cavities in children and adults, much better than brushing alone.

There’s also the sad fact that not every kid is taught to—or sometimes allowed to—brush their teeth.

Goodness no, I hate the Russian and Chinese government. They can all go take a long walk off a short pier.

And the fact that we can address these things, and occasionally change them (unlike China and Russia), is I suppose a bit encouraging.

But that’s small encouragement next to the mass slavery, targeted attacks, and disenfranchisement throughout our history, and so much of it by regular everyday citizens cheerfully doing terrible things to other regular everyday citizens, no (or very little) government involvement required.

And it’s still going today. The majority of people in this country refused to vote, or voted for a felon who ran on a program of destroying the constitution, over a PoC woman. Because they liked Trump’s message more, or, even more damning, figured that since they probably wouldn’t be impacted, it didn’t matter.

Because it’s not only about how much I have, it’s about how much you people don’t have!

The shootings are the latest in a string of seemingly lone-wolf politically motivated violence.

Good grief, could they whitewash this any harder?

Because it’s not only about how much I have, it’s about how much you people don’t have!

It helps the rich. More money and stupider labor.

In my district the highest drug use was in a predominantly white school.

This had nothing to do with race and everything to do with the fact that they had a large campus and so could find more places to get out of sight to do drugs.

It used to be that ‘uneducated’ and ‘dumb’ were different things, but boy howdy are the Republicans trying to make them the same picture.

OTOH, if this is in the US, we are almost entirely at-will when it comes to employment; we can be terminated at any time, for something as petty as the boss not liking our socks, no heads-up required.

Here the two weeks notice is considered a courtesy, and sadly fewer and fewer businesses are proving worthy of that courtesy. It seems from the post title that this company did not deserve much respect at all.
