Of all the names on the list, Leazel is absolutely killing me. Everytime I think it I’m laughing again. A little disappointed but you’re probably right - it’s meant to be Lae’zel.
That’s a clever option too! I do like with mine that you can still choose to pull the door fully closed without any issue, but otherwise it’s locked in a fixed position so even if the cats get the zoomies the door doesn’t fly open as they dive through.
I got one of these for the bedroom because I was sick of using a stuffed animal to prop the door open for the cats.
Bioware didn’t make Starfield - that was Bethesda. Maybe you were thinking of Anthem? And fair point there.
I think generally you also need to butcher an animal fresh. Within hours. At least, I believe this to be the case with teak tartare for instance. Edit: steak*
I would happily move from the US south to Ireland. My wife and I went for our 10 year anniversary and it was the most magical place I’ve ever been. Freezing cold temperatures at times during our visit and still, the hills were still lush emerald green, the loughs glistened in the sunlight, we walked some incredible river trails and crossed stone bridges, walked and lived amongst the ancient history of castles and forts all across the north and through the center of Ireland. We spent 4ish hours a day driving from castle hotel to castle hotel, I never expected the drive to be one of my favorite parts of the trip. Deep forest to tall swaying grassland; sheer cliffs, hills, and mountains; rivers, lakes, and the sea. Just utterly, unbelievably beautiful. I think we’d sell our house and all our worldly possessions to live in a shack, if we could emigrate tomorrow.
Toss in there the benefit of living in the EU, but in reach of the British and Scottish countryside… Leave behind hidden US sales taxes for clearly defined pricing with VAT, ditch the nightmare of the US system for the EU healthcare system, there’s so much else to love.
For your consideration - Hans Zimmer.
Nice, got it figured out then?
Well that’s not classically how DND works - it certainly didn’t on my Note 20 Ultra. Maybe you had Google digital wellbeing settings turned on? Or focus mode or something of that nature, such that when the office is in DND notifications are held?
I highly recommend this Veritasium video from last year about this subject.
At this point it has to be “suicide by election” right? Why put yourself in the line of fire?
Not necessarily threads, but to remain wide open isn’t necessarily the best policy. Or so I assume this to be the point they were making.
Maybe use some critical thinking before acting smug, smart guy. 41% of instances is not 41% of users. Lemmy.world could have 90% of users, and if this 1 instance out of 1000 haven’t blocked threads, the 41% of instances blocking might only host 4% of users.
YouTube Music allows you to upload up to 20,000 tracks to your personal storage for free. And then you can just pre-download anything you want or you have anytime access to just stream your whole library, without the need to preload your device as if it were 2003.
Oh I vaguely remembered it being beyond the ¾ point, but also I wouldn’t have known and it certainly FELT like that was the case when I got soft locked.
I went to school in Hawai’i and discovered strawberry guava - the plant is an invasive species that chokes the life out of everything it can, but it bears the most delicious fruit.
While playing Final Fantasy X the first time, I got to Old Zanarkand and inside the dome, I saved behind a sealed door in the Cloister of Trials. I wasn’t savvy to good saving practices and after solving the puzzle, got into a battle I was completely hopeless to defeat. There was no way to walk back out the door from which I entered, the only way out was through; and with my existing inventory, spells, charged up aeons, etc. I absolutely could not defeat the boss.
It was pretty crushing because this moment is so close to the end of the game, but I gave up and had to come back months (years?) later to fully start the game over. I think maybe I played 99+ hours of Final Fantasy VII and then decided to give X another try. The second time, I was much smarter with maintaining multiple save games for safety. Not to be bested again, I grinded up all of my limit breaks and aeons for safety and completely obliterated the boss in one go the next time around.
Thanks for the context - that’s fascinating.
