Zelensky wasn’t elected to be a wartime leader; his mandate from the public was to do the opposite. Perhaps he has won over some citizens during the conflict, but he owes it to the people of Ukraine to give them the choice to pursue peace.

“The Dispossessed” by Ursula Le Guin does a lot of world building (in short, anarchist separatists fled Earth to terraform the moon to be barely hospitable) and a fun glimpse into a would-be anarchist society

Do these become jury trials? In the near future, I could see jury nullification of these cases the same way abolitionists did it 200 years ago.
