While this is awesome we still need to have the same performance on Windows. Yes, some games run better through proton for some reason, but that’s the minority. Hopefully, proton will not be needed for new games in the future and we get native builds like CS2.

Listen, you can try the game for two hours and get a refund on steam. If you didn’t notice the performance issues on your rig within those two hours, well, what’s the problem? I don’t like BL games and I don’t like poorly optimized games. Doesn’t run like I wanted to? Fine, I refund, maybe try when I upgrade my hardware and the game is on sell.
