Greed will do that to any company.
Wishing for my death or a World War. Either will do. Because FML or this world.
Greed will do that to any company.
First it was blockchain and NFTs. Now it is AI. It is almost like these execs are full of shit.
Not by much, but I sure am excited about AAAAA games.
Don’t worry Geoff, when it comes to AAA games, my expectations are already at rock-bottom. I expect almost every single AAA game to have some kind of catch be it microtransactions, or live service, or some shitty launcher requirement, etc.
I was saving up to buy PS5 for a long time too. But, when I couldn’t buy one, I just bought PS4 for half price and then, since Sony releases it’s games on PC anyway, I am not going to buy PS5. I have no need for that.
Maybe check for errors before posting it?
I always find it ironic that people with the most money are always the hungriest for it. Their entire lives revolve around it, and they are willing to pay any other price for it. They will kill ecosystems, pollute everything and even destroy societies for it.
Or more child slavery, maybe? Sorry, that is for batteries.

These execs are the biggest costs these businesses have to incur. Maybe, do the industry a favour and fire yourself.
No one going to miss these publishers. They think by hoarding franchises , but firing devs who actually made these franchises great, they could ride the coattails to success. But, they need to learn the lesson that franchises only matter as long as people care about them and people only care about as long as the games are actually good. By killing studios and firing devs, you lose the ability to make great games and then, your hoarded franchises fade into irrelevance.
They all tried to do live service games and when it all fell apart, the ones who made the decisions cut loose the devs. It is really that simple. Execs were simply too optimistic about their chances of success and when their own decisions threatened their bonuses, they put someone else on the chopping block.
So, broken and buggy game with battle-pass and a perfectly functioning store from day one? Of course, a promise to fix the game with a roadmap within a week of launch. Yeah, a tremendous live service indeed.
Imagine simping for a billion-dollar corporation. I mean, I love Sony games, Uncharted, Horizon, Spider-Man, but I am not going to defend them. Their lives must be really awesome, if they stoop to simping to a corporation.
Personally, I am rooting for the stage to win the match. Fuck this PR stunt.
This. People paying hundreds for a skin in CS and hundred for a new game mode that they might not even get into are the reason things we get games like Suicide Squad.
Honestly, that sounds nice to me.
Is this even legal? The companies that gave money to Embracer would lose their money, instead of Embracer who is responsible for the loss. Sounds fucked up to be honest.
Sounds dumb.
