if the law makes their business not viable it’s a ban. and if all they can do is show ads and not allow people to post BS then they will go away.

you ban them by making good laws that make why they are shit illegal. it’s really not that hard. force them to have validation of political claims. if they don’t then shut them down. not difficult.

The issue is two fold.

First the scope of the project is very important. When I am working on a web app the most complicated project is still 90% boilerplate stuff. You write some RESTful code on some framework using CRUD and make a UI that draws based on data. No matter what you are making, lets be honest, it’s not novel. This is why vibe coding can exist. Most of your unit tests can be derived from the types in your functions. Do a little bit of tracing through functions and AI can easily make your code less fragile.

When you are working on anything more complicated making code better requires you to actually grok the business requirements. Edge cases aren’t as simple. The reasons for doing things a specific way aren’t so superficial. Especially when you start having to write optimizations the compilers don’t do automatically.

The second issue is learning matterial. The majority of the code we write is buggy. Not just in range testing but in solution to problems. There is a reason why we don’t typically write once and never go back to our code.

Now think about when you, as a human, go back over old code. The commit log and blame usually don’t give a great picture of why the change was needed. Not unless the dev was really detailed in their documentation. And even then it requires domain knowledge and conceptualization that AI still can’t do.

When teaching humans to be be better at development we suck at it even when we can grok the language and the business needs. That is a hurdle we still need to cross with AI.

We can actually pass reform to lower medical prices for everyone, get some sort of universal basic income, tax the rich and drop all taxes for the bottom percentage. Basically bring up those struggling so that GOP base has no reason to be maga. while they fight agains handouts red counties tend to take the most so they do actually take them.

His base always felt like the government was against them. This wasn’t new to Trump, he just really took that view and ran with it.

The problem is how to discuss very difficult to understand topics with a group of highly undereducated and very angry people. With the move away from an economy that thrived on pure effort into one that requires a deeper understanding, we now have a huge chunk of the population that feels left behind. The only problem is there isn’t a path for them to catch up.

And to make matters worse their political party has thrived on creating an angry, undereducated base. All of their policies actively harm their electorate and yet they keep getting votes.

The GOP base are like people who got bit by a racoon with rabies and instead of going to the doctor the lick the racoon’s face. Then they get angry at water because they are nuts.

there are also people who make their living by following rich people to get them to fund projects. I read about construction companies that would follow Trump around and have people slip him ideas so he felt he was this amazing business man. All the politicians are following this method.

You know that people do this with Elon and any other rich person. Stroke the king’s ego by pretenting it was all their idea and get rich off of it.

but how do you do that when the maga base all believe there is a big kabal against them. If the reporters just say the politician lied the base will claim the reporter lied.

either they need to call out the politician on the first lie and not let it go further until they respond with the explaination or you give them absolutely no air time, not even stating they lied. make them responsible or invisible.
