Well, either Ronny is an introvert and not interested in meeting new people, or he has already been introduced to Jesus before and makes an informed decision here

Lemmy Shitpost@lemmy.world•When I let Windows update and now I have to pay $10/month to unlock my computer
4·2 months agoIf you’re talking about ransomware (?), they are actually famous for great customer service and not stealing your credit card details. If people don’t trust them, noone will pay. So they offer live chats with real humans to help you set up a bitcoin wallet etc., to ensure smooth processing.
The business has developed further though, not if you don’t pay they often threaten to release the data on the web.

Europe@feddit.org•Merz says he is maintaining a good personal relationship with TrumpEnglish
8·2 months agoNo, they don’t. For example, Merz doesn’t give a fuck about the country, hires his unqualified buddies from the industry into his ministry positions, and thinks domestic abuse is not a crime.
Edit: of course this is ironic. Text based communication is an ass.

politics @lemmy.world•Vance calls end of Ukraine aid 'one of the proudest' achievements of Trump administration
23·2 months agoI so hope this gets sour quickly enough for all of us to enjoy.
The stupid Iran war has already shown that Ukraine is much more up to date with how current drone war works than the US and Trump is too dumb to see that.
Once Ukraine has kicked out the Russians and has all the expertise on modern drones wars, the US is going to come begging.

This is a political party and that’s how they can act.
If you want fast results, take it to the streets. Kicking him out outside of bureaucratic procedures is everyone’s responsibility, not specifically the elected parties

Games@lemmy.world•AAA Dominance Is Eroding: 56% of PC Gaming Revenue Now Goes to Games Outside the Top 20English
4·2 months agoStill feels crazy though how aware you’re forced to be about ads lurking in every corner. I check many of these boxes plus some others, use independent OSs, 3rd party apps etc. And still, although I hardly see any ads, they are so present just lurking under the surface.
Good example are sponsor comments in yt videos/podcasts. Some I can filter out with Sponsorblock, but the little video glitch reminds you every time that you have to stay safe. Podcast ads can easily be slipped with the fast forward button, but if you’re washing the dishes etc., sometimes you can’t react directly.
It’s really insane how ads are just everywhere these days.

Isn’t this comment an ad for the pirate bay?

Good point, I hadn’t thought about the entire post apocalypse genre. But I was rather thinking about something similar to a strategy game like Tropico or SimCity, just in that setting
