I was being serious. Thank you, that’s a lot of good context for terms that I have seen floating around. And also wtf.
Oh so they have a reality TV show about themselves, kinda makes sense that they’re famous then. And OJ Simpson is the guy with the sex island, right?

I’m actually impressed by this map. The French speaking part of Switzerland is not only differentiated from the German speaking part, it is also differently coloured than France, since Swiss French has more sensible numbers.
I once wanted to change my mouse scrolling direction on Windows. In KDE it’s a toggle in the mouse settings and on Windows it’s some dubious registry editing (apparently). I think there are about as many things that are easier on Linux than on Windows as there are things that are easier on Windows than on Linux (assuming you’re using a modern distribution with a beginner-friendly, sensible configuration).

I actually really enjoy engaging with politics in Switzerland, maybe because I do it almost entirely offline. There’s some really rewarding (and important) discussions to be had, if you manage to talk about specific policies and issues, while avoiding the ideology prejudice stuff, especially if you’re talking to people you disagree with.
My special trick is never having even looked at any tweets because the stupid website tells you to make an account every two seconds
