I don’t think the ones I have would since you have to push the power button to tell it to start charging a plugged in device.

This is so infuriating, especially when it’s so easy to show that voting against progressive initiatives also hurts their own constituents…
This is so cool, it’s a fair way off and may not materialize, but what a great innovation!
This is impressive and terrifying as hell… I’m pretty tech savvy and have watched other AI videos, but if you presented this to me as real, I’d totally believe it! Especially I can imagine it being spliced with B roll footage and maybe “real” footage to make it even more believable. I’m floored…
I wish I could say that the UI in EMRs *doesn’t * stick big time 😭
None of the hospitals I’ve worked at (in the US) have used Linux, and I’m pretty surprised some do! Given that we used Internet Explorer up until the very last second before it was not supported, I don’t know if any change would be welcomed, unless a hospital somehow started out with Linux. But at the end of the day, it would be about to e electronic health record, if it was supported or not… I don’t know if Epic, Cerner, or AllScripts do!
I graduated 2006 and my college has WiFi all over so early-2000s?
I’m not an expert, but one drawback is the potential for one partition to become full when the others are empty… However, it looks like you have several different file systems, so a leaner approach might not be doable. May I also recommend something like proxmox to virtualize different OSes, although I’m not sure that would meet your needs.
Not sure if you’re on iOS, but I’ve used Overcast for years and absolutely love it. There’s a function called “sort by oldest/newest by podcast” which I use for exactly the function you’re looking for!
I’m not sure why, but it seems like TrueNAS in a VM is not recommended (I saw a thread on their forum)… I also wanted the ability to add more drives later on, so I’ve gone with UnRAID and even though it’s only been a few weeks, it seems pretty functional and I’m glad I paid the licensing fee. I am trying to do Proxmox and OPNsense on one of those fanless N305 boxes and am getting very confused!
Hey of course, sorry for the delay, work has been crazy! I put this together from eBay and Newegg, I’ve installed UnRAID and am trying to get everything setup, moving Dockers from the tiny Lenovo to this, and replacing my Synology DS920+ eventually. The UnRAID forums are extremely helpful!

Idk if this will help, but there are plenty of SFF systems on eBay, but I’d just be careful about what you want… I thought those looked good and bought a Lenovo but then wanted 10Gb Ethernet for a NAS and now I’m putting together a 2U rack server! Not to say you’ll do the 180 I did, but just keep future expansion in mind…
Hear hear, I also agree even as a die-hard sci-fi fan! I never understood why it was so popular…
I think it’s a fair opinion, but a lot of “cheap” IoT devices only support 2.4GHz, so I do have both networks setup in my house for that reason…
I really like #2… I’ve tried to wean myself off Amazon and it does cost more, but Jeff doesn’t need any more money!!
I put it in a brown paper lunch baggie and eat it from the top so the bag catches the crumbs… for the most part!
I use washcloth to dry off afterwards. I bought a cheap pack of like 50 on Amazon and keep them in a basket and wash them after each use, they definitely last the week or so between laundry loads. It may not be necessary since I think some people use the same towel several times but it’s not a big deal for me.
Also just switched to Cloudflare (used to be google domains)… since they run half the internet, they probably won’t be going anywhere anytime soon? Feels like every service gets sold/acquired and I have to change everything over every few years and I’m getting tired hahaha… also their DNS changes update basically instantly and are easy to do for this newbie!
62F in the winter and 72F in the summer… I like It chillier than warmer :-)
