I use Debian btw

After I graduated college and got my first place on my own, I had my desk set up in the corner of the living room with a long HDMI cable strung around along the baseboards and into the TV. It was clean. It was a Vizio 37" panel from 2011 so it had no smart features. I kept a Logitech keyboard/trackpad combo on the coffee table and that’s essentially how I had a smart TV running full blown Windows 8 Pro in 2013. Tired of desk gaming? I got a DualShock 4 and a Bluetooth adapter so all I had to do was turn the controller on and walk to the couch. Sometimes, switching my sound device did mean saving and restarting my game. Some games handled the Alt + Tab to the Control Panel just fine. I put a Blu Ray drive in my computer too so with some software, I used it as a Blu Ray player.
These days, I have 10 TB on board so I keep my movies stored on my disk, and I stream them over my local network. I’d like to build a proper always on NAS one day, but for now, my gaming PC is also my network share.
Bold thing to say when your house is flammable.
A screenshot I saw somewhere.
If you’re just now learning about him, I both envy and pity you.
I hope not. We already have a serious mouse problem as it is.
Of course. He headbutts everything though so it’s nothing special
He LOVED the box.
King Glizzard & The Blizzard Wizard
Edit: didn’t see this was already commented, soz
Wait, you’re telling me other countries have long processes for immigrating? I’m shocked. SHOCKED! Well, not that shocked.
Save your money, y’all. You might need it if you ever need to flee to Canada as a refugee.
Flowers together strong 🪻
I only have one. It’s built for a few thousand square feet, consumes nearly 1 kW, is about as loud as a vacuum cleaner, and will raise the temperature of the whole house a few degrees.
But damn, does it WORK.
I gave my brother my Sandy Bridge laptop that got me through college. New battery and charger and it’s all set. The 1366x768 resolution doesn’t render pages very nicely anymore, though.
The biggest mistake anyone can make with a 10 pound domestic housecat is to underestimate one. Cats seriously punch far above their weight. Like someone welded a bunch of razor blades to a flying, out of control angle grinder that always knows which way is down. A cat can ruin your day quickly.
It’s fortunate their primary prey is plastic.
Not just the scent of rain, I love the sound of rain. The tapping on the windows. The pitter patter on the roof. The splashing as it forms puddles in my flowerbeds.
I love the feeling of rain. The way it immediately cools the air around me. The way it falls on my head. I could pass on the wet socks, though.
I love the sight of rain. The way it darkens the world a little. The way colors pop when the sun comes back out. The way the flowers are always just a little brighter for having had a quick soak.
There is basically nothing for me not to love about the rain.
My wife’s 2019 16" MPB is running pretty great. Probably got another 5 years of life left in it. She uses it to watch YouTube and play Sims 4.
My 2016 Acer Aspire V3-372T is hanging in there running Debian. 60 FPS YouTube videos are getting to be too much for it anymore. I may have to put the old girl to rest one of these days.
But hey, it does play Minetest pretty flawlessly.
I reeeeeeeally envy y’all for that flag. The design is dope.
My house district represented by a Dem so it’s not that surprising to see Harris-Walz signs, but it IS surprising to see so many. As someone who grew up in the butt crack of Jackson County in DEEP Republican territory, it’s just such a breath of fresh air to be able to live around neighbors who aren’t crazy goobers.
When I did it, you could opt out electronically for 5 years, but a lifetime opt out requires you to mail a printed form. I’m guessing the lenders have something to do with that and are banking on most people not having a printer.
Edit: Or having to deal with paying for a stamp and putting something in the mail.
But yes, I love their 90s clip art.
