The fascist power structure is unjust and so it is like an upsidedown pyramid being propped up by pillars: people who do the actual work are the pillars. Those of us who are terminally online should definitely checking sources, but I don’t think that is practical for those working two shifts and taking care of a family.
How do you address the material conditions of people who reject addressing the material conditions if it also helps someone who isn’t them.
I think the sort of help you’re talking about is of political policy (ie free lunches at schools). I am speaking of direct action by volunteers (ie running a community pantry). When you engage in the community, conversations happen and that is when you can challenge biases in a non-confrontational setting.
If you cannot find solidarity in the masses then what is it you’re looking for? A Vanguard party to reeducate the masses?

We can keep telling ourselves Mark Cuban’s “opportunity economy” was good enough but objectively it was a flop with working class voters. Either it was a messaging failure or it wasn’t populist enough, Bernie is saying it is the latter. If it was a messaging failure, then we’re likely to conclude it is because our media landscape is toxic. Bernie would agree and say that is why we need a populist message to cut through.
