The excavator song by Blippi, although the repeat request was by my 3 yo, I obliged because that song is a lowkey banger.
Clearly a construction-themed remix of Every Breath You Take, but yeah, been there.
Bien cordialement by The toxic Avenger.
It’s in French but the lyrics are a cover letter for a job, telling the hard truth about how she is unhappy to apply to an unknown company for a job she doesn’t want to do, only because she needs money.
The Ogre by Gnome.
It’s an 8 minute long almost instrumental badass song about the gnomes getting eaten by an ogre and cutting their way free. They have other great songs too like Wenceslas, Stinth Thy Clep, and Old Soul.
I absolutely fell in love with Wenceslas. It’s a masterpiece, especially with that video they made…
I love the little dance. And I need one of their hats.
Exactly my answer, what a banger of a song on a top notch album.
Tight song, thanks for sharing
I’m not even going to try to type the name of this one. It’s Estonia’s contribution to this year’s Eurovision and it makes me happy every time I hear it.
Apparently the chorus translates roughly to “Why no, officer, those are not our drugs.”

Star Wars Cantina
Illusions by Dua Lipa
Me too
Tame Your Fears - White Rabbit
Stick Figure - World on Fire. Beautiful ear worm.
The whole album is an instant repeat
Heck yeah it is. That song in particular is a reference to the A66 motorway that crosses the north, which has one incomplete section that reduces down to a single-lane.
The song is also a reference to the US’s route 66, but with more emphasis on boredom and drudgery than any hellish themes.
Emeli sandé - KungFu
The ending harmonies reminds me how we trully are on our own, despite some of our friends saying “I got you”
Black boys on mopeds - Sinead O’Connor
Kaola family by Blippi.
It was demanded of me.
Tortoise by Blippi, same reason.
Luke Combs and Tracy Chapman - Fast Car
ABBA - Eagle
I am not an ABBA fan, but that song was and is still awesome.
Yes. It takes me to another place.
