Does it comes with their accessory?
What if we electrify our guns so that the propulsion of the bullet comes from electrical power rather than the rapid explosive combustion of gunpowder? Some sort of handheld railgun, perhaps?
The orange turd thinks steam is the answer, more reliable, need to make it a steam cannon. 🤣
Bullets with blade propeller!
88kWh is not big enough. And 88kWh/510km = 17.25 kWh/100km…that is either super efficient or more likely not possible to achieve.
130-150kWh is really the size needed. I tested the Riddara RD6 for a long weekend; real world open road range is around 230km (on a 360 km WLTP range). Towing a small trailer drops it by around 25%; so if I wanted to tow a trailer to a camp site without charging infrastructure…that limits me to camp sites within ~70km of home.
To hit the 360km listed on the 73kWh pack, you would need to maintain 20kWh/100km; which I couldn’t even round town, which I managed 21 at best around town and closer to 30 on the open road.
To replace my current Mitsubishi Triton; I would want 400km open road range. I have a smaller electric car for around town running, which is great to drive.
If they release a 150kWh version that comes to NZ; I would be very interested. We do already have Chery here, so I expect these to be available soonish.
If we take the 88kWh and assume it is similar to the Riddara, round town range is likely 420km and open road range is likely 295km. This is for 100% to 0%, so usable range is also 10% lower than that.
What’s the rule of thumb, 3/4 of the CLTC range is the EPA range? That’s still really nice for the price.
Where buy?
Chery is one of China’s big auto exporters so depends on if a country already has Chery cars.
It says their HQ is in Wuhu, Anhui, China so probably there.
Wuhuuu!
The RWD version features a single 150 kW (200 hp) electric motor, delivering 350 Nm of torque. The AWD adds a front-mounted electric motor for a combined 300 kW (400 hp) and 540 Nm max torque.
Holy shit
No mention of a two seater with a longer bed. If I wanted rear seats I’d buy an SUV.
I’ll wait for the jihadist review
Can’t come up with their own shit they have to copy Toyota design?
Damn sedans, all ripping off the Model T
There’s only so many ways to design a successful pickup. Though I wish they shortened the hood and added more bed space.
