There’s more than some hypocrisy. Taking money that should be going to taxes and spending it on charity and pretending they’re some massive do gooder is not a good thing.

It’s the truth. You think rampant consumerism isn’t creating consequences? Do you think personal purchases shouldn’t be held to moral standards?

Why can’t you?
It’s worse. At least the cyber truck is electric so they’re not belching out gas.

You can rent cars below 25 they just cost extra.

You are aware that russian information warfare campaigns are an actual thing, right? Like yeah. Blaming it on russia is bad. But it’s still good to know the degree, how much they’re doing it, etc

What’s the average age of a military pilot

Ml will say china has 7(?) independent parties that are totally not fully controlled opposition

Noz horrible campaigning and racists got us trump

That’s optimistic

Local vs amazon are not the only 2 options. And let me be very clear. I am not simply saying “Buy local”. Conflating that with ethical shopping is wrong.

“only” is the keyword in the title. Also, no, most utilities are pay for how much you use, not subscription models.

God I wish they’d actually pull over people for not turn signaling instead of just as an excuse to deport a black person

If we’re going to have missiles, knife missiles are a good thing

People have no morals. Most people only care about the cheapest price, and after that getting the best item for the cheapest price
You are aware that percentages of demographics changing does not demonstrate a shrinking user base by itself, yes?

Most people. The vast majority of people. Because most people aren’t that “paranoid”(if you can call it that when the threat is real)
I do my absolute best I can to source anything I buy from countries that I know uphold labor standards. Beyond that, I also attempt to buy sustainably and especially from worker coops and union made goods.
So no, I don’t buy nothing from china(and other countries without strong labor laws). But I do buy very, very little from there, and only when there are no other options. Considering the only material goods I buy are bikes, Clothes, and food, it’s not the hardest.
