Just stay away from the luciferium!
Just stay away from the luciferium!
I absolutely love World of Horror! It just hit 1.0, so if you were looking to try it out nows a great time! Also worth mentioning that it has modding support, so you can go on the discord and extend the games content a ton (not that it’s really short on content to begin with)
FrendlyJordies house was firebombed. Weather it was an attempted murder or just a message I’m not really sure but it’s definitely horrible!
Preemptive strike WHITOUT formal declaration of war signed by congress and WITHOUT congressional or U.N. approval.
Isn’t he directly saying congress DIDN’T sign off on it?
Ah yes, having a party = poisoning yourself with alcohol to the point of dying. We end up killing at least 1 ever year at my birthday party but that’s the price I’m willing to pay for a good rager.
I’m sure that they have a sign by the front stating that they do this. Probably on the menu as well. I doubt that most people are doing the math themselves and are more likely to see a $10 menu item and think it’s $10 + tax and fees. Basically the extra fees are an afterthought.
A lot of people are only passingly interested in video games. For people that just want to sit down and play something having to learn about the game and how it’s played is work, not entertainment. I can see how someone who only games maybe once a week could have some real fun playing a sports game. It’s very easy to pick up because they already know the rules. I don’t agree personally, for me games are the most fun when I’m interacting with a new mechanic, but I am also willing to grind for hours optimizing and learning to push the game to its limits. If you don’t have the time for all that, but you still want to game, sports games are a perfect entry point. Not even I can come up with a justification for the pricing though.
If you raise the price of everything by 18% the prices on the menu will be 18% higher, possibly discouraging people from eating there. If you add it at the end people will still choose to eat there at least once. It is practically the same as raising prices, just a lot more dishonest.
At first I thought I was having a stroke, then I realized it was a key. If I may ask, why spell everything out instead of just posting a copy and paste able code? Only thing I could come up with was to prevent bots from scraping codes out of comments, but I think it would still be pretty easy to parse it into a regular game code.
Exactly! I kept trying to log in just to see if it was a temporary outage, but well it wasn’t to be. It’s at least good to know I wasn’t alone. Out of everything on Lemmy I really liked the vibe there, but if it’s down for good I guess it’s time to move on.
Damn I remember the post about defederating from some instances due to German law, but I never really went to the comments because everything they said was pretty understandable. I don’t blame them either for the decision, but like you said I wish there would have been a little heads up. At least I now have some idea of what happened and where to find that community again. Thanks for the info!
Ordinary well-adjusted people with wealth and belief that the world that you bring your children into isn’t a doomed from the start. A lot of ‘well-adjusted’ people can’t afford to have kids, or they don’t believe that their kids will have anything to aspire to. I don’t want to be rude, and correct me if I’m wrong, but this comes of as any old Dick or Harry should have kids. For a lot of people in the west kids are simply out of the question if you plan to keep your current quality of life. Which is to say nice job! An actually unpopular opinion!
Not quite, but it actually fits really well!
+Correct Such a good game!
… You aren’t playing Brink are you?
All I ever do in Noita is kill myself accidentally. Good game
A group of teenagers who hate loud music die. Then they eat a bunch of food and meet/become god. Also maybe they become better people or something? IDK, I’m still trying to influence fashion to min/max my stats.
(Context I uses to repair phones for everyone’s favorite insurance company Asurion, so my perspective is more about the physical device and components)
I fucking hate them. Super fragile AND super expensive. Not to mention if you have one and the screen protector get damaged manufacturers warranty only covers 1 replacement. Fixing that inner screen out of pocket is around $600-$700 which at that point is just buying an entirely new note or S-series phone. The only nice thing I can say is that the 4 Gen flips and folds are a bit sturdier than the first generation, so they are improving over time. Maybe by the fold 7 it will be in a place where consumers can buy and repair them for reasonable prices, but right now I always advise people to stay away.
If you haven’t already watched a ton of gameplay, be warned it is VERY different from DD1. Both good games, but I was going expecting a hamlet and that is not what they were going for in the sequel.
