Life is too short to consider the lesser of two evils. Push for the ideal.

2·24 days agoNow that’s a cool thesis statement ;)
When I heard about neuralink first, I went down the rabbit hole of how communication could evolve beyond body language, speech, and reading/writing. Conveying emotion directly sounds incredible, especially when considering the visuals and other potential sensory information possibly transmitted.
Though, there are probably some awful discoveries about humans to be had even with the best intentions. Still I’m a proponent of truth over comfort and I hope your idea can be realized.
Just don’t be shocked when average people have a highlight reel of primal sexual thoughts on repeat, totally superficial programming or constant crippling quiet anxiety.
We often present in a way that society approves of or in a way that engages society in a beneficial way to us. The inner thoughts aside. To reveal that, could change the perspective on even loved ones.

11·24 days agoI’m implying that most of the issues of the world are from corporations and billionaires working with the government of each major nation to hoard wealth.
All of our resources should be spent on reducing government power across the globe and instilling the will of the people.
Stuff like this is not relevant in those pursuits. Taxes, healthcare, peace, housing, individual rights… frankly anything outside of those topics should be seen as leisure. Which some time should be allotted for, of course.
I also simply take offense anytime people tell others what to think.
Nothing personal. Just my two cents.

Resoundingly.

4·24 days agoIt’s all in the name of harm. You can probably group the reasons for the broader picture.
Oh please. Don’t you see they always keep you squeezed just enough so the hopeless balance of inaction is protected?
Finally something worth discussing on this post.
Isn’t it a similar “ego” phenomenon that someone would want the highest difficulty setting to be something they themselves can complete? I fear it’s solely because you get to select the difficulty level that anyone even has an issue with Helldivers.
If you use Call of Duty as the example, they match you with people at your ping and skill level. So why isn’t level 10 on helldivers considered to be the Challenger version of the game. If it followed any similar logic to the bell curve, then very few people should be able to complete it without a coordinated team effort using comms and highly tech focused builds.
Yet I started Helldivers a month ago and have completed a 99% full clear super helldive with 0 deaths with randoms (Fking lidar tower).
Anyways, I’m kind of thinking if they nerf the game it will be too easy. I envy that steep learning curve and great heights by which the game demands you rise.
Unfortunately, developers are left in a position where they have to simply decide. To favor the people who find entertainment in being able to finish the highest difficulty vs. the peoe who desire an never ending demand for evolution to higher skill.
I am happy with the dev team quite a bit due to the fact they do engage and adapt with their community. Much more than other games…

This is exactly why we need a world that gives every person a chance to rise to their potential. The number of people with zero chance to solve the universe is ridiculously high. The way the world operates currently… Heaven on earth, while possible, has been stolen by the would wage war or hoard wealth in highly inefficient ways.
