Agreed. By much correspondence, I was referring to how there are still some services that have not migrated to digital alternatives.
Mail should be considered a utility like electricity and access to potable water. It shouldn’t be restricted to profitable areas.

Right??? Our geography dictates that there is no way to both be profitable and ensure that all areas of the country have access to mail service, which remains how much government correspondence is handled.

I would much prefer my tax dollars be spent on TAKING DOWN ALREADY CONSTRUCTED BIKE LANES
/s for the love of god
If it wasn’t so dystopian, I’d be for it. Self driving cars that you can book as needed would require less space be devoted to parking and one vehicle could serve as transportation for more people. Combined with easy and accessible public transit and thoughtful pedestrian and cyclist-friendly city design, being less reliant on vehicles sounds like a dream. If you could book the equivalent of an Uber and have it be available within 5 minutes for a reasonable price, why wouldn’t you? In such a scenario, cars would only be for hobbyists. Those who aren’t able to drive (elderly, people with disabilities) would have more equitable access to, well, anything that requires you to physically be somewhere.
Truthfully though, I don’t see a place where capatilism would allow this to happen. Selling everyone their own vehicle, with their own maintenance fees (and now subscription fees), accessories, fuel, etc… is way too lucrative.

It sucks for everyone. I guess except for the doctors who get into it for the money, but insurance billing is one of the biggest culprits of provider burnout in the States.

Comparing to the dotcom bubble is what finally made it make sense in my brain. Though I know the toll it took on that sector’s workers and I don’t envy those in fields that are going to be affected the same way.

I put my keys in anything that I need to remember, and schedule myself a text for when I’m going to be looking for them so I can remember the keys are in the fridge with my lunch.

Can you explain how we’re beyond bubbles like I’m 5? Is it that there are gentler market corrections now?
I’m sorry that you’re going through it. I’ve been there myself. I hope you that you have the support you need, and you’re right- all things change eventually. Your debuff does have a countdown, you just can’t see it.
Why permanent? Couldn’t it be a temporary debuff?
It’s a learning curve for both of you. The ice and pillow techniques are good ones. It took about a week for my snuggly cat to figure out the best place to lay across my lap to not injure my femur fracture. Let him know when he’s hurting you (yelp when he steps where it’s painful), and he’ll find his spot and you’ll find your spot. It’s normal for cats who love you to want to be near you while you are healing, he’s trying his best to help.

I second this!! My pharmacist has saved my butt so many times. He knows me by name and reminds me when my prescriptions are running low.
Hmm I couldn’t find idared or red noble on apple rankings, but there is crimson gold. https://applerankings.com/crimson-gold-apple-review/
Don’t leave us hanging like that man. What were the apples?

I have a shark combo that’s a few years old- the vacuum piece definitely clogs more thany old solo robot vacuum. I’m not sure if in recent years it’s gotten better, but having to empty it daily is still better than vacuuming manually. The mop function you have to install the water tank and put the mop pad on to use it and I find it does a fairly good job. Still need to vacuum and mop manually time to time but the in between is helpful.

You are HIV Trump. 😊😔😊😔
What did the puppy do to deserve that?
