I’m not as optimistic about that as you are. The average person only knows what they’re told and as long as the right controls the narrative in their homes they’re going to think ‘liberals’ and ‘illegals’ and ‘trans’ are causing their pain, no matter how bad it gets.

Maybe some pain is what they need to snap out of this, but they also need a trusted voice to tell them the truth about who is doing it to them. Right now that person doesn’t exist in a vast swath of American homes.

Anyone who makes that argument has no idea how bad things can get and how fast.

Here are a couple comparisons that maybe give it more relevance:

I think it’s even simpler. Biden and the RNC decided ‘actions speak louder than words’ in 2020 so the GQP promptly filled the information space with bullshit and lies. It was already over by the time Biden announced his reelection bid.

Just because you can cherry pick a dozen articles from the last TEN YEARS about NATO and Ukraine doesn’t make you right.

I don’t even need an article to refute all of that - Russia attacked a neighbor unprovoked, NATO has attacked NOBODY ever.

That is a crazy take. Europe could spend some money and help Ukraine win this without losing any of their own soldiers’ lives.

Hey, I’m beyond doing anything productive at the moment and I recognize this. So how about you take a break from sniping at people who are probably on the same side as you are and let them take the time they need to process this so they can get to a place where they can chart a course of action?
