Bluesky is privately owned, so I don’t see how it solves anything. And I don’t want to limit my feeds to include only technically skilled people, does that make any sense?

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•I get a lot of ideas in the shower. Do any of you use any kind of waterproof note taking pad and pen so you can catch those ideas before they vanish in the steam?
1·1 month agoMaybe also the generic you? Sometimes it feels a bit imperative like in this occasion.
IIRC whatsapp’s automatic backups are stored in cloud and unencrypted by default. So it takes only one person in the group chat who has backups enabled (pop up reminds periodically if not) and no password is set (not required, takes effort and will to set) to leak everyone’s messages.

3·1 month agoI’ve had glasses for a long time and interestingly they clean better with hand soap. Many have suggested to use dish soap but it seems to be less effective. I’d imagine most of the stains come from being in contact with skin so I’m a bit surprised.
