You might want to look into doing a class audit. It’s free. You essentially just sit in on a course and learn and everything, but you don’t get a real grade or credits.

As far as recording lectures, there is probably someone taking the course that might be willing to do it for you, but other than that, it’s not something you typically see available anywhere. It may be a licensing thing or something like that.

It sounds like you found everything you’re going to find without paying for a professor. What you’re looking for is where the money comes in. The professor is the one that teaches you the things you’re supposed to learn, not the books. Yeah, you can read the books yourself, and you’ll get something out of it, but you won’t learn everything you would from a professional, and you have a strong chance to learn things wrong without guidance.

Yes, education should be available to all, but this isn’t the answer. Definitely pirate (school) books, though.

Honestly, I’ve come to seriously dislike Proton. Yeah, it’s cool they don’t log any data, but they’re starting the ai shit and their fucking UPGRADE NOW shit everywhere just because I use the free email (I have literally zero use for any of the paid features). It’s commercializing and enshittifying rapidly.

I contacted Proton’s support and everything was configured correctly. My ISP is Verizon (I don’t have a choice) and they’re the kind of fucks that would do deep packet sniffing, so I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s why.

I used a VPN (Proton) and it didn’t do shit. I am not using containers because I’m not even sure what that is, what it does, or how it works, and I’ve never heard of gluetun. I need instructions. I totally get what you mean about not clicking with a band or music type when it first blows up. I just had the same thing happen with me with Wu-Tang Clan. I’m from the generation of Wu-Tang, and while I did listen to things like Snoop, Dre, Cypress Hill, and the like, I just didn’t click with Wu. Now I’m binging it like it just came out lol.
