Americans do this to avoid paying for a procedure I paid less than one day’s pay for and then dare call my country a shithole.

    root canal/filling

I dunno for sure but I feel like you should decide which one you’re gonna do before you start setting up. Especially if you’re DIYing it on the floor.

My mom took away my orthodontic care as a punishment when I was a teenager, so I ended up removing my own braces.

Remember teeth are luxury bones that you need a separate subscription for in the US.

I’m okay in that I’m an adult and will never interact with that woman ever again if I have it my way. I’m not okay in that I’m an underemployed trans man in the south.

I have epilepsy and probably TD from the time when she had me knocked out for 2 weeks on Resperdal as punishment for telling on her (she’d get too fucked up on weed and oxy to remember to pick me up from school.) PTSD specifically related to mental health care makes it very difficult to get mental health care, even if I had insurance. EMDR would probably be best for long term help, but my therapist is worried that it would trigger me to the point that I couldn’t function. I wanted to move out of state to get away from my triggers, but right now really I’m just trying to hold on to my apartment.

I’ll be okay when the child torture facility that helped her do that is closed down. Weed and art and Star Wars are here to remind me that it isn’t all pain.

Oh, man, the risk of infection in a bone is SO high, and can easily be fatal. Very bad idea. He’d be better off yanking the tooth.

Especially on that nasty carpet. Just because Voyager has carpet even in sickbay, doesn’t mean that it is recommended

So, let’s just start with what we have. What did this do to you? Tell me. And remember, this is for posterity, so be honest. How do you feel?
