Two-tier justice system
In this case because he can most likely not hide anywhere as he is so famous. Also I don’t think his narcissism would not allow him to flee.

Putin will probably reward him with all the pussy he wants for the list of US agents he has given to Russia.

You can be a coward and a narcissists. I’m pretty sure he is both.
Well, are we all really surprised by this? We knew he was gonna lie about wanting to go. He’s never attended any of his kid’s graduations or milestones. Such a pathetic waste of a human.
And this terrible, awful, sad excuse of a human is what republicans want for president. Tells you everything you need to know about them and how shit they are at their jobs.
Dude is a lying, treasonous, rapist, but per snopes he surprisingly has attended all of his children’s graduation ceremonies.
Not included by @autotldr@lemmings.world:
The graduation ceremony is due to start in the midmorning, according to fact-checking website PolitiFact. While it is unclear exactly how long it will last Trump, 77, who owns a private jet, may well be able to make it to the dinner and attend both events.
I don’t know which “private school in Florida” Barron attends, or precisely what “midmorning” is in this context, but I know that graduation ceremonies can easily go on all day long. If Trump fails to appear at Barron’s graduation, he is clearly and willfully abusing the generosity of the court, and should expect no such further generosity.
Hell, even if he does appear at the graduation, the fact that he was relieved of having to appear in court in New York has made it so that he can appear at this fundraiser in Minnesota.
Maybe for public schools? I seriously doubt Barron is attending a school with more than a few dozen in his graduating class.
Edit: did a quick Google. 610 students at his school in grades 6-12… So something like 90 students per grade level.
Another contempt charge?
another $1000, paid out of the minnesota event proceeds, for skipping the graduation ceremony he was granted a day off from court to attend.
The $1000 is probably coming out of Barron’s trust fund too lol
Send him to Night Court!
judge harold t. stone would have him in lockup for contempt before the first commercial break.
Abracadabra Stone*
We’ve been watching Barron’s villain origin story for a while now, this is another step. Anyways, he’s 18 now and well on his way to becoming as bad as the rest of his family
Dammit, I had $50 on him going golfing.
I’m sure he’ll squeeze that in.
This is the best summary I could come up with:
Trump is on trial in Manhattan on 34 felony charges, including falsifying business records, related to claims he orchestrated the payment of hush money to adult film actress Stormy Daniels, ahead of the 2016 presidential election.
Trump had complained on his Truth Social website that he could be forced to miss the graduation of his “wonderful son” Barron, who attends a private school in Florida, due to the hush money case.
The Republican Party of Minnesota’s Lincoln Reagan Dinner, which Trump is hosting along with House Majority Whip Rep. Tom Emmer, is taking place on the same day at St. Paul’s RiverCentre.
“Minnesota voters have repeatedly rejected Donald Trump and his efforts to ban abortion, take away their health insurance, and attack our democracy,” he said in a statement.
“I think that the Biden campaign is deliberately playing a faux game by talking about [how] they’re going to expand the map in Florida and North Carolina,” he told NBC News on Saturday
On Monday Judge Merchan fined Trump an additional $1,000 after concluding he had again violated a gag order imposed as part of his trial, and said he would consider sending the Republican firebrand to jail if infractions continue.
The original article contains 566 words, the summary contains 200 words. Saved 65%. I’m a bot and I’m open source!
“Lincoln Reagan” sounds like a luxury car built on a truck chassis that gets 10 mpg.
He can’t tell the truth at this point
