Yeah, this seems right. I had an easier time going through Brussels Zaventem during the September 2025 airport cyberattacks than I did Dallas-Fort Worth first week of this past January (before the TSA strike started). Even my straightest, cis-est, whitest, most American coworker (this is how he describes himself) got stopped and taken to a separate room for 40 minutes, and then we got rebooked to a flight two days later with no hotel accommodations, and no car. The cherry on top was having to do the whole security dance in full all over again.

Harris broke fundraising records with her candidacy with 64% of those donations being first time donors. They actually could have had the momentum to mobilize non-voters. Instead they capitulated to corporate interests as usual.

Again, the problem isn’t “protest voters”, they are such a small percentage. People focusing on this are ignoring a lot of other factors, and honestly it seems like another way to scapegoat a DNC systemic problem.

While I agree with you wrt consoles locking people in, my parents are hobby console collectors and that got passed down to me. I buy whatever comes out and sell as needed. But is it getting less fun to collect with the current gen, I’m not gonna lie. Games don’t even come on discs anymore, so a physical collection is starting to become useless.

I’m still running a 2080Ti so I’m doing ok, but it it definitely starting to show it’s age. I somehow ended up with an Intel low profile GPU from my local tech store (I couldn’t even tell you the model) for like $65USD and it had display port so I decided to plug my monitors into it, and it helped my primary GPU performance more than I expected. Maybe something to look into? Assuming your mobo and CPU can handle 2 GPUs ofc
